This upgrades the brakes supplied in the kit with carbon ceramic brakes. We provide two options, brakes from the popular Camaro ZL1 or the Corvette ZR1. These brakes were chosen because there will be a long-term supply of rotors and pads, as well as significant aftermarket support. Note that like the brakes that come with the kit, they are manufactured by Brembo.
The upgrade includes 4 carbon-ceramic discs, 4 calipers, 4 sets of pads, and also includes four specifically-designed, CNC-machined uprights (not shown). To utilize this package, you'll need generally wheels of at least 20" in diameter (contact us to discuss wheel fitment before you order wheels!).
One of the significant benefits of CC brakes is an approximately 60 lb reduction in unsprung weight when compared to the standard brakes.
Note that the price may vary based on our cost to source the brakes. Please contact us to discuss. Caliper colors may vary, and are likely to be blue instead of red- custom colors are available at extra cost.
